The necessity and value of physical activity and exercise have risen to the top of many of the 'to do' lists in recent weeks. Whilst we experience many challenges through isolation, the need to keep the mind and body active has never been more crucial. We may be preparing to bunker down further but a simple burst of activity for just 30 minutes a day benefits not just the body, but crucially the mind and soul.
The levels of engagement and activity by everyone in our community has been an inspiration to see with many of you enthused by our cardio and skills challenges within our Webb’s Workout and Gordon’s Goals tasks.
One of these is our DEAM (Drop Everything And Move) document located on this week’s assignment sheet and attached here. This document is designed to share fun and engaging ways to stay active whatever your age, experience or level of fitness.
So join us every day join us using @athleticsBISCLP and share the ways that you are being active this April. Keep us motivated by sharing photographs and videos of you, your family and even your pets moving to a new challenge every day.
