This week Year 4 have been completing their cushions.

Year 6 have been performing solo pieces to each other! It has been so impressive to hear the different styles and choices of repertoire that the students have chosen to perform.

This week in science Key Stage 2 had their first taste of the 2015 science fair. Ms. Neal and Mr. Collins were so impressed with the enthusiasm shown by all participants. The caliber of projects was such that it was tough to decide who placed. We would like to thank Dr. Whyte for giving up her time to come and judge the projects. Her expertise was invaluable in helping make decisions; she was so impressed with all the scientific vocabulary and skills being demonstrated by our pupils.

Dr. Whyte said that she felt there were lots of scientists, artists, mathematicians and engineers in the room and what an exciting future those professions will have with those students joining them! We now look forward to next Monday and the Year 3 and 4 science fair!

FIFA has had a lot to tackle this week but that hasn’t stopped Year 2 honing their soccer skills. They used their passing, dribbling and shooting skills that they’ve been practicing over the last few weeks in mini-competitive games.

In Dance this week, Year 4 have been exploring the element of energy. One of our studies involved creating a dance using sharp and smooth movements.
