Nick Toczek visits BSN!

Today Foundation and Year 4W received a special visit from author and performer Nick Toczek. Nick visited different classrooms and read poems from one of his many published books. The younger children particularly liked the Counting poem that required them to get physically involved. Mr. Toczek showed he was a man of many tricks as he performed a couple of magic tricks that left the children in giggles and awe. He brought a cute and furry green friend for a visit called, Mr. Shy Dragon showcasing his puppetry skills. Nick showed the children Mr. Shy's giant drinking straw and had them in stitches with laughter and wonderment at how big the straw actually was. Nick also gave out certificates to the students during the Foundation Assembly. In Year 4W, Nick worked with the children on developing writing ideas and gave hilarious examples to work from. After their brainstorming session the children performed their ideas in front of the class. It has been great having Nick visit today, who knows what other surprises and stories are up his sleeve for tomorrow and Friday?!
