Day 2 - UAE ECOventure Trip - Year 6

Day 2

Greetings from Al Jeer camp!

The children have had a fun filled day with lots of different activities.

We woke up to rain and thunder which gradually eased off as we all set off for breakfast. Everyone enjoyed a hearty meal of scrambled eggs, fruit salad and cereal before being put into their groups for the day’s activities.

The activities included meeting animals such as a ball python, a hedgehog and a gerbil called Geoff. Children also took part in dissecting a squid to discover its anatomy and painting each other’s faces with the squid ink. After snack, some of us had the opportunity to go kayaking and play an exciting game of World Domination on the water.

Tomorrow, we will take part in more teambuilding activities such as “The Leap of Faith” and raft building.

Everyone is having a great time and the children are all excited for dinner and their evening’s entertainment.

Stay tuned for more news tomorrow.

Kind Regards,

Mr McConville
