Dear Parents,

MK Primary Talent Show

As mentioned in an earlier newsletter, Year 5 students Lyla, Nada and Sydney took it upon themselves to organise a Talent Show for MK Primary. Prior to half term, we had auditions and on Thursday afternoon, we saw the grand finale.

The show was hosted by Lyla, Nada and Sydney with an ‘expert’ judging panel of Mrs Cardiff, Miss Skelt and myself. Mr Basulto, Mr Jayson and Mr Dwane offered much-needed technical support. What a great show it was! Twenty students from Year 2 to 6 took the stage to dance, sing, play instruments and amaze with magic tricks. The judges had a tough decision to make but we finally agreed on the top three:

Kashish (5MB) singing ‘Sad Song’ by We Are Kings.

Allegra (5MA) singing Beyonce’s ‘Ave Maria’.

Idman (3MC) singing ‘Let Me Breath’ by Harish J.

The entire Talent Show process has been a joy to observe - from the students taking initiative to organise the event, a large contingency of students showing courage to perform in auditions, to the final show where the audience encouraged all participants through positive comments and much deserved applause.

A huge thank you to all students, parents and staff for supporting such a wonderful event.

MK International Breakfast

The ever-popular International Breakfast takes place on Saturday, 9 December between 09:00 – 11:00am. This is a great opportunity for families and teachers to recognise and celebrate the rich and diverse school community we have. To get involved in supporting this wonderful event please use the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FCSMKIntBreakfast. If you have any questions, please see Mr McConnell or myself.

Have a great week!
