Nord Anglia Music Exposition, Dubai (NAMED)

We are pleased to provide further information on the Nord Anglia Music Exposition, Dubai (NAMED) on 11 and 12 May 2017.  This is a really exciting initiative to bring together students from across the Nord Anglia Schools in Gulf for a musical adventure.

The cost of the trip to Dubai has been subsidized by the school in order to keep the cost as low as possible and will be 1,120QAR per person.

The price includes:

  • Return flights
  • Accommodation
  • All meals
  • Group travel insurance?

We will leave for the airport on Wednesday, 10 May 2017, departing from school at the end of the school day with food being provided on arrival at the hotel. There will be a full day of rehearsals on Thursday with breakfast, lunch and evening meal provided at The Nord Anglia International School, Dubai.

Friday will follow a similar schedule to Thursday culminating with a performance at 16:00 that parents and friends are very welcome to attend. We will leave straight for the airport at the end of the performance arriving back in Doha at approximately 21.30 (times to be confirmed by airline).

Students must have a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months from date of travel). If a visa is required, please make arrangements for this in good time. The school cannot be responsible for visa applications or any fees related to passports or visas. Please contact your embassy or consulate if in doubt. If a student is refused permission to board the plane for Dubai for any reason, the school will not refund the cost of the trip.

If you would like your child to take part in this fantastic opportunity please pay the non-refundable deposit of 500 QAR to the school finance office by Thursday 2 March 2017. Students wanting to join the trip will be required to attend all rehearsals and ensure that all school work is up to date prior to the trip. Please do not hesitate to contact me at alison.porter@nais.qa should you require more details.
