During STEAM week, all children across the school were invited to take part in the Compass Great Aeroplane Paper Challenge. The aim was to build a paper aeroplane to fly the greatest straight line distance using just one sheet of A4 paper. No other materials were allowed! The children had great fun designing and making the paper aeroplanes in class. They then competed in classes during the week, and then on Thursday we had our grand final with the winner of each class on the field. Well done to Amr in Y4A- our school's champion, whose paper aeroplane flew a whopping 16.21 m.
