Compass International School Doha is delighted to welcome William Thalheimer, a graduate from MIT he completed his MS in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and is currently working as an air vehicle conceptual designer. William Thalheimer will be visiting all the campuses to participate in talks and activities during STEAM week with our students. Mr Thalheimer will be joined by a Major in the US Air Force based at Al Udeid, an Army Aviator and Aircraft operator.

Our students will be learning from people in the forefront of aviation, they be involved with MIT research on aircraft design and the environmental impact of aviation, and complete a research project allowing them to explore their curiosity and gain expertise.
