Our Student Council Spoke with a Sister School Student Council in Beijing

Today, our Student Council, led by our Head boy and Head girl, took advantage of our Global Campus by talking to the Student Council from the British School of Beijing, Shunyi. Our Skype call had to take place first thing this morning as they are five hours ahead of us. We were very excited to talk to each other. We found out that at BSB they have a longer school day, they do not finish until 3:30pm. The weather can get more extreme with temperatures dropping to - 10˚C. This means that the BSB students have two different uniforms, one for summer and one for winter. We were glad to hear that there were many things the same, for example, both councils help organise fundraising days for charity. We look forward to further collaborations in the future.
