‘Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community.’ Anthony J. D'Angelo.
When we have visitors in school they almost always refer to the welcoming nature of our students, staff and families. This was again evident on Saturday, when the school community came together to celebrate our Spring Fete. So much so that one of the vendors, who had participated in a number of Doha school events this year, was compelled to say how much they enjoyed being part of the day. “Everyone I met was so friendly, helpful and happy to chat, this is not always the case. I would very much like to be part of next year’s event!”
It was great to see so many families and friends of Compass enjoying such a lovely event. There was much to explore and participate in, from the many arts and craft stalls, the many staff-led games and activities, the fantastic performances from our choirs and bands and the delicious treats served up from the BBQ, waffle grill and our legendary cream teas!
If you would like to be involved in our Parent Teacher Association to help organise more of these events please come and see us in our offices.
