On Sunday, 10 June, Year 6 students from all three campuses descended on Madinat Khalifa to spend the day in Secondary, as part of their transition from Primary. Throughout the day, the students enjoyed a number of lessons led by the Secondary Team. They found out more about life from the current Year 7 students and met the Head, Mr Douch and Deputy Head, Mrs Anderson-Rice. The students returned to Primary effusive about their experience and are already looking forward to next year!
On Wednesday, 12 June, we recognise the achievements of our Year 6 students and their graduation from Primary to Secondary school. This event will be a great way for the students to reflect on their time at Compass School, whether that be for a few months, a whole year or throughout their entire Primary journey. I am immensely proud of the focussed, mature individuals they have become. I look forward to seeing the vast majority return to Compass for Year 7 and look forward to seeing their continued progress in Secondary school.
I have been very pleased to see attendance levels have remained high this week. As I mentioned last week, all classes remain fully focused on learning and this will remain the case until the last day of term.
Have a wonderful week.
