Dear Parents,

Madinat Khalifa Primary Staff Awarded Best Team Educational Project Award

We are always keen to celebrate the successes of our students but today I’d like to focus on celebrating the successes of our staff.

Last weekend saw the Nord Anglia Education Middle East and Europe Regional Conference. This conference involved all NAE schools from the region and allowed staff to collaborate and share good practice. Over 100 workshops were held over the weekend as well a range of other professional development events. A team of our Primary Teachers and Learning Assistants led a series of workshops linked to their team project centred on effective use of Learning Assistants to support student learning, these workshops were well received by attendees and aspects of this project will be adopted by other NAE schools.

I’m delighted to share that the team consisting of Mr Allan, Ms Lovett, Mr McArtney, Mrs Garia and Mrs Romaniuk were presented the Team Award for Best Educational Project. This is well-deserved recognition for their efforts and the efforts of our Madinat Khalifa Primary Team.

Nord Anglia Education Parent Survey

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated in our annual parent satisfaction survey held in January This year, more than 61% of our Madinat Khalifa families responded sharing valuable feedback on how we can continue to enhance our school to provide the best educational experience for every child.

The results of the survey are now being anonymously collated and analysed by Nord Anglia Education and we will receive our individual school results in the coming weeks. We are looking forward to sharing these with you very soon.

Spring Fete

The ever-popular Compass Spring Fête takes place on Saturday, 16 March between 9:00 and 11:00 am. This fun event will host a large number of vendors from across Doha, a range of engaging activities for students and families, as well as chance to win some rather excellent Door Prizes. We look forward to seeing our families there.

Have a wonderful week.
