The Minibeasts show took the standing room only audience on an exciting and humourous journey to ‘Insectopia’.
The quality of speaking, singing and dancing was exceptional and the students, parents and staff left the hall humming, singing and whistling the catchy tunes as well as mimicking a few of the fun dance moves.
Events like this are not possible without the whole school community’s support. Many thanks to our parents for providing costumes, practising lines, songs and dances. The teachers, learning assistants, IT team and maintenance staff ensured that the staging, props and hall were ready for the performance.
This isn’t the only musical extravaganza planned for Madinat Khalifa Primary, as our Year 4 to 6 production is scheduled for the end of March. Practices are well underway and we are in for another exciting adventure.
The grand finale of our international week will be the ever-popular MK International Breakfast, taking place on Saturday between 9:00 – 11:00 am. Many thanks to those of you have signed up for your countries stall if you haven’t yet it is not too late and you are encouraged to speak to receptionists about joining a group. In addition to a culinary tour around the world, we have a number of performances scheduled from the various school choirs, instrumental groups and dancers. We look forward to seeing many of you there!
And finally… one last chance to complete our parent survey.
To assist with the school’s continued improvement we would really appreciate it if you could take 5 minutes of your time to visit the link below and complete our Parent Satisfaction Survey. We value your input and use this to guide new initiatives to develop our school further and to give our students the best possible experience both inside and out of the classroom. Emails were sent to all parents during the first week of Term this month. If you did not receive the email, please contact Cora or Batoul at Reception.
Have a wonderful week.
Jimmy Frawley, Head of Primary at Madinat Khalifa
