Kylie Konstand is Influencer of the Week

Throughout the year our students embark on several philanthropic endeavors that are led by our Lower School Student Government.  It is always so impressive how enthusiastic and receptive our students are to help others in need. This past week, one of our fabulous third graders, Kylie Konstand, was recognized as an ‘Influencer of the Week” by the West Orange Observer.  Kylie was honored for setting up a lemonade stand during her neighborhood garage sale with all the profits going to Matthew’s Hope, a faith-based homeless outreach ministry that serves people in West Orange county.   Kylie was able to share this experience with two of her close friends, Julia Barry and Claudia Ramirez, which made it extra special. Kylie’s desire to help others in need is quite admirable and we are very proud of this special Laker!  ~ Melissa Fagan, Lower School Director
