Ms. Rhodes

Head of Year 6 & 6B Class Teacher

After completing her Geography degree at Durham University Ms. Kiszka-Rhodes went to Cambridge University to obtain her PGCE.

I have worked at a primary school in Cambridge. As well as teaching both Year 3 and 6, I run the school’s cooking club; have led Geography and am currently leading Science as co-ordinator; and am Charity Co-ordinator – a role I am passionate about! I love organising different events and helping the children realise how much of a positive impact their actions can have.

I feel that as a teacher my first, and most important, job is to build up positive relationships with my students and really get to know them! As ‘lead learner’ I try to build up a sense of enquiry and intrigue; I love thinking up engaging, exciting lessons which will really push the children to achieve in their own way.

In my free time I love to travel – I recently went to Iceland which was incredibly beautiful (if not a bit cold!); I read everyday, my favourite author being Murakami; I  keep active by going to spin classes; and like to try out new activities for example falconry and white water rafting! I am looking forward to getting to know everyone within the Nord Anglia Hong Kong community.
