Ms. L. Kiszka-Rhodes

Head of Year 6 & 6B Class Teacher

After graduating from the University of Durham with BA in Geography, Mrs Kiszka-Rhodes completed her PGCE at Cambridge University. She worked in a primary school in Cambridge for 5 years before embarking on her journey to Hong Kong. Mrs Kiszka-Rhodes joined Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong in 2017 and became Head of Year 6 in 2018.

Mrs Kiszka-Rhodes feels that as a teacher her first, and most important job is to build up positive relationships with her students. She considers herself a ‘lead learner’; building up a sense of enquiry and intrigue in the classroom. She loves thinking up engaging, exciting lessons which will really push the children to achieve in their own way.

In her free time Mrs Kiszka-Rhodes loves to travel. She reads every day, loves hiking around Hong Kong and likes to try out new activities for example falconry and white water rafting.
