Ms. C. Leverett

C. Leverett

Modern Foreign Language Teacher, Balmoral A House Tutor

Miss Leverett obtained a degree in French and Spanish with European Studies at the University of Bath, during which time she gained teaching experience in both Paris, France and Guadalajara, Spain. Following a year in Latin America, Miss Leverett returned to the UK to complete her PGCE through Teach First, where she taught for two years in a secondary school in the Rhondda Valley in Wales. After this, she moved to an independent school in Bristol for a further two years, where she taught both French and Spanish from Year 3 to Year 13. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Miss Leverett loved the opportunity to become involved in extra-curricular activities, coaching netball, rounders and hockey, as well as helping with the Duke of Edinburgh award. Positive relationships and wellbeing lie at the heart of Miss Leverett’s ethos for education, and she is passionate about seeing her students develop a love for languages.

In her spare time, Miss Leverett enjoys staying active through hiking, running, netball and climbing, as well as travelling the world to explore new cultures.
