The Village School brings home high honors in debate tournament

  • Magnolia Debate Tournament

The Village Debate Team attended the Magnolia High School debate tournament, January 13. Sophomore Aditya R.  made Village history by going undefeated against 50+ competitors and winning first place. He became the first Viking to qualify for the Texas Forensic Association's (TFA) State Tournament in Lincoln-Douglas Debate.

The TFA is one of Texas's most competitive debate leagues and qualifying for the State tournament requires an incredible amount of hard work and consistent high rankings at tournaments.

In addition, his teammates, Aryan P. and Adnan F., took top speaking honors, and Urvashi D. was a finalist in Congressional Debate.
