ACE - AFTER CLASS ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

The Village School offers a robust variety of after school activities through our ACE program.

The Village School's ACE (After Class Enrichment) Program offers students unique activities outside normal school hours. Open to students in PreK3 through 8th grade, Village's ACE Program provides a fun environment for students to grow and learn. Whether it's athletic endeavors, artistic expressions, or academic achievements, Village's ACE Program delivers numerous outlets for students to express their energy, creativity, ambitions, and natural gifts to become innovators and creative thinkers.

ACE General After Care

For families that are looking for general after-class care the following options are available to you:

1. Clubhouse: Early Childhood PK3 & PK4

2. Study & Play: Kindergarten – Grade 4

3. Homework Club: Middle School Grade 5 - 8

Hours

The ACE Program runs from 3:30 to 5:00 pm each school day—except Wednesday when it begins at 2:30 pm. 

On Wednesday Early Release Day classes begin at 2:30 pm and conclude with carpool at 4:00 pm. Wednesday extension will be offered from 4:00 – 6:00 pm

A light snack is included each day. Fees vary by program:

After Class Enrichment - Frequently Asked Questions

  • 1. What is ACE and is after-care the only program available for childcare during the school year?
    ACE (After Class Enrichment) is offered year-round. Not only does ACE provide after-care, our skilled team hosts parent-teacher conference care, a Thanksgiving camp and spring break camps!
  • 2. Who can participate in ACE?
    ACE is available to all PK3 - 8th grade students. Early childhood students must be the age of 3 and potty-trained before joining ACE.
  • 3. What time will After Care be available?
    ACE occurs daily from 3.30 - 5.00pm with the exception of Wednesday, the early release day which runs from 2.30 - 4.00pm. ACE also offers before-care from 7.00-7.30 (Kinder - 8th) and 7.30-8.00 (PK3 - PK4) and after-care until 6pm.
  • 4. Are there daily or drop-in options available?

    Our goal is to offer flexible options that meet a variety of family needs. Classes are structured to be per day/per semester enrollment. i.e. Monday Chess cost and offering is for the entire semester, not year. Families select classes for Spring (when registration opens before Thanksgiving). For those emergency moments that require day of care, we have limited drop-in availability.

  • 5. How do I register for ACE?
    Registration opens July 7th via the Schools Buddy app. Once the program details are finalized, we will open registration and notify all families with instructions on how to enroll.
     
  • 6. Is there a limit to how many students can enroll in ACE?
    Yes, there are a limitations based on staffing and space availability. We recommend enrolling early once registration opens to secure a spot.
     
  • 8- What types of activities default title
    The ACE program has a variety of offerings that enrich STEAM, Fine Arts, Athletics, Wellness and more! Classes include; Chess, Art, Lego Robotics, Coding, Dance, Flag football, Tennis, Swim team,etc. rest assured we offer general care for those that may not have a specific class interest, but need care.
     
  • 8- Who supervises the ACE program?
    ACE is led by trained staff who are experienced in working with children in an educational and recreational setting. Staff members prioritize safety, engagement, and support during the extended day.
  • 9. How can I stay informed about updates to the ACE?
    We communicate updates via email, the school website  and parent newsletters as soon as more information becomes available. Please ensure your contact information is up to date in our system.
