Update and Lunch Fee Refund - 11.06.2020

Dear Parents,

You will be aware of the announcement that schools will reopen on 24 th June for specific
students. Much planning behind the scenes at BSKL has already started. Tomorrow all
Principals are on a call with the Selangor Department of the MOE to discuss in detail what
this will look like for international schools. Once we have this clear direction we will be able
to share our plans to reopen the school with you.

As there are only six school days left after 24th June we have made the decision not to re-
open the canteen this academic year. From next week onwards we will begin the process of
refunding lunch fees.

1) For families who are not returning to BSKL, we will be refunding the prorated amount of RM208 for Term 2 19/20 lunch fees and full amount of RM1,014 for Term 3 19/20 lunch fees. Please use this form to provide your bank details for the refunds to be made into your bank account. We will be processing the refunds in batches and this might take more than a week before the refund amount is credited into your account.

2) For families returning in Term 1 20/21 who have fully paid up lunch fees for 19/20, the refund will be credited and offset to the Term 1 20/21 lunch fees. Any excess will be credited to other costs.

3) For families returning in Term 1 20/21 who have not paid Term 3’s lunch fees, they
will have a credit note of RM208 to be applied to Term 1’s lunch fees.

We are all very excited that the school will be coming alive again.

Kind regards,

Janet Brock
