1A Teaching Assistant
Murdo is joining us this year from Scotland, where he has been working as a chef. His interest in teaching comes from the joy of looking after his two nephews, so it is a career he is interested in exploring.

Miss Smailes grew up in Hong Kong before studying Philosophy at the University of Leeds. She began her international teaching career in Beijing where she lived and worked for three years. She then moved to the UK where she worked in Nottingham before seeking adventure in Myanmar in 2016.
2A Teaching Assistant
Emefa joins us from Malaysia where she has been living with her family. Originally from London, she is a qualified teacher however would like a little more classroom time before embarking on taking a class of her own.
2B Teaching Assistant
Ms Whittaker has been living and working in Mumbai for four years where she has been working with DSB International School teaching Extra Curricular Activities, enrichment classes and developing musical education.
2 C Teacher
Ms Willmott is from London, England and has been teaching in Sheffield, England since obtaining her PGCE there in 2017. Jessica also has a degree in English Literature from the University of Leeds.
2C Teaching Assistant
Miss Simpson is going into her third year with the British School Yangon and is looking forward to spending another year working with children. Prior to working in Yangon, Polly was volunteering at a senior citizens centre running leisure activities with the residents.
3A Teaching Assistant (PGCEi)
Miss Corbett joined the British School Yangon in 2016 as a Teaching Assistant. After two years she enrolled on an international PGCE, which she will begin this year.
Miss Finley is going into her second year at British School Yangon following a few years teaching in the UK, based in school across Hampshire and Surrey. Alexandra also has 6 years experience as a TA prior to completing her teaching degree.
