Netball Success!

The ACSIS Finals evening was held on 4th Nov at Tanglin Trust School. The girls were entered in Division 3. They had 6 matches to play. Some against schools they had compted against in the friendly rounds. Some were new and unknown teams and some were teams (Avondale) who had beaten us 7-0. But Finals Night is where matches won means points. Points awarded meant table placings. First, second or third meant medals.

Well as the picture gives it away it will come as no surprise that we won a medal placing - bronze medals in fact. In total the girls won four matches, drew one and lost to Avondale again (but with a scoreline of 4-2 on this occasion). Great team work from every girl on the court. The ball handling, footwork, shooting and movement skills of each and every one of the players has improved so much. Brilliant!

The following were:

  • Player of the Season(voted by players) – Abi Watson
  • Player of the Tournament(voted by players) – Anju
  • My Player of the Season – Isabelle Cooper
  • Most Improved – Dylan Tetro
