Medal winners in Butterfly and Freestyle events

  • ACSIS Swimming Meets

It has been a crazy weekend of ACSIS swimming meets. Middle swim meet on Saturday at Nexus and Juniors swim meet on Sunday at UWC Dover.

The swimmers were awesome with many Personal Bests being broken. For example, Gus and Kate winning medals in their Butterfly and Freestyle events at the Junior Meet whilst the U14 Boys Freestyle relay team (Rami, Oscar, Hunter and Yugo) were 8th and Doyun finished 8th in the Breaststroke. A special mention also goes to Ana, Alfie, Yash and Ellie for doubling up in the relays on Sunday after several swimmers had to withdraw due to illness.

Thinking back to these events two years ago with the Dover Fins, I cannot believe the difference in the confidence that each and every swimmer has especially with their diving off the starting blocks. I am really proud of their effort in the pool. Well done!
