Six DCIS staff (Miss King, Miss Jenni, Mr. Winkley, Miss Roach, Miss Dunn and Miss Adi) took part on Saturday and each swam 300m, cycled 4km and ran 1.6km as fast as they could in the midday heat against fierce competition. On Sunday, Miss Harris performed an amazing swim time, Miss Burnett a great cycle, and Mr. Odey an impressive run in the relay event. The teams all came 13th, 14th and 15th within their races but, more importantly, had an incredible time and worked as a team. It was truly inspiring to race the same course as the professionals then  watch them race for the championship series title (especially Jonny Brownlee!) It was also fantastic to see lots of students, staff and parents coming to spectate and support. I hope many were inspired to take up triathlon!
