We know that moving your child to a new school can be a difficult process, for parents and children alike.
With this in mind, we want to make it as easy as possible for your family and your son or daughter to settle and make friends. Our warm and welcoming school community means that your child will easily settle into student life at Dover Court International School.
Here's some advice on relocating your child to our school:
- Think about the school's curriculum. If you think you might move to another country in the future, following a curriculum that's internationally recognised will help your child adapt more easily. We offer an international version of the English National Curriculum, and we are also part of Nord Anglia Education's network of schools across the globe, so the transition to another of our family of schools is extremely smooth.
- In the senior school students will study for the IGCSE, a recognised qualification that will allow your child to continue their studies at schools around the world.
- At Dover Court, we have a track record of warm welcomes for new families. Every child has been "the new kid" at some point, so they all understand the importance of making new children part of the community.
- Our teaching staff will work with your child to develop a personal plan for their education, which will take into account their individual abilities and strengths. This will make their transition to Dover Court quick and easy, and make them feel at home from the very start of their school life.
