Primary Football vs ISHCMC - Match Report 10/05/2018

11 May 2018

Our Year 5 and 6 FOBISIA teams warmed up for next week’s SISAC tournaments and their trip to Phuket with valuable practice time in a friendly against ISHCMC.

Boys Football

Our Year 5 and 6 FOBISIA teams warmed up for next week’s SISAC tournaments and their trip to Phuket with valuable practice time in a friendly against ISHCMC.

Year 5 boys, playing their first full game together all worked hard and showed some great potential. Nhat Minh scored a fantastic goal, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to stop a 3-1 defeat.

Y6 boys played superbly, and were the better team for most of the game. With their only two shots of the first half a deflected effort and a breakaway ISHCMC were 2-0 up at half time.

In the 2nd half BIS were superb, they passed the ball well and had many chances, on another day they could have scored 6 or 7. A combination of good goalkeeping and bad luck meant we could only get 1 in reply. Final score ISHCMC 2 - BIS 1.

Both teams play in the SISAC championships next week.

Both Year 5 and Year 6 teams worked tirelessly on the football pitch, showing strength, speed and resilience. There were some fantastic football skills on display from the goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and strikers.  Well done girls!
