The students who performed were those who were part of our wonderful ‘Clubs’ provision here at the BIS HCMC Junior Campus where a large number of children have the weekly opportunity to develop their musical skills with peripatetic music teachers, or those class teachers who take music clubs. Although not part of the wider music concert programme, they work equally as hard to ensure that they are not only developing their musical ability, but loving what they are doing at the same time. The performances consisted of the Junior string orchestra, the drumming and recorder clubs, the harmony choir who performed with the fabulously talented ukulele club, the double bass duo and Mr Mike’s concert band. Thank you to all those who performed on the day, as well as to the music department, staff and peripatetic teachers who organise these weekly clubs for our students. The music provision here at BISHCMC just keeps getting bigger and, most importantly, better each year. Thank you also to those parents who were able to make it on the day. We hope we entertained you!
