CPR and Choking - do you know what to do?

At BIS we aim to support our whole community in developing valuable knowledge and skills to keep our children safe and help them to learn and grow. One approach we have adopted is through regular community talks for parents. Two weeks ago Ms Mary explained the information shared and discussed during the talk on pollution in HCMC.  This week we hosted a Community Talk on CPR and Choking, which proved to be a valuable use of time for all parents who attended.

On Wednesday 6th March, Nurse Sang from Family Medical Practice led a workshop on Basic First Aid.  During the workshop, he discussed two key topics: CPR and Choking.  Nurse Sang talked the group of parents through what to do in these situations and gave practical demonstrations.  Parents then had time to practise these new skills.

You can find the presentations used in the talk by clicking on the links below.

The next Community Talk will be on Wednesday 27th March and will be on Growth Mindset in Children. Please see the poster below and watch out for details on Seesaw about how to sign up to attend this talk. There will also be more Community Talks in Vietnamese coming up soon.
