Middle School Student Kaylan Patel Wins the 2018 Florida State Geography Bee

Middle School student, Kaylan Patel, has won the Florida State Geography Bee, winning against 500,000 students from the state of Florida. 

Kaylan represents our state in the National Geography Bee, via the National Geographic Society, on May 20-24 in Washington, DC, which will be televised on the National Geographic Channel.

We could not be more proud or excited for Kaylan and his ongoing success, and we greatly look forward to the national event this May! Congratulations from your entire WPS Family!
