PROSPECTIVE FAMILIES OPEN HOUSE
International travel is another way that our students can develop global-mindedness. Twenty-six seniors and four chaperones will travel on the annual senior trip to Europe, departing on Saturday, November 26 to visit London, Paris, and Rome during their adventure. The itinerary takes the group to some of the leading landmarks that are typical of travel to these major cities: Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abby, the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Montmartre, the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and the Vatican to name a few. New this year, students will enjoy an extra day in Paris where they will enjoy new culinary delights and experience new scents at the Fragonard Perfume Museum.
By the end of the trip, the seniors will have learned about the history and cultures of the cities while developing strong bonds with one another. Much of what they will see in person is what they have read about in history and English classes. The seniors who traveled last year enjoyed the food and culture as well as learning more about themselves along the way. This is experiential learning at its best, and the reflection of the influence of cultures is what leads to lasting memories and impact on our students. Please keep all the travelers in your thoughts during the adventure.
