Last week, BIS Hanoi was delighted to welcome visitors from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Led by the school's Performing Arts team, this spectacular show brought together a talented cast, crew, stage design team, orchestra, and logistic, all of whom were students and teachers from the BIS Hanoi community.

Thank you to all families who joined us to be entertained with our Secondary theatre production of A Little Shop of Horrors this week.

Earlier this month, 50 students from Nord Anglia schools around the world, including our representative, Hyeonchan (Year 10), gathered at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for a unique experience that brings to life the MIT-NAE STEAM collaboration.

Out of 150 participating delegates, we are delighted to share that three Year 11 students from BIS Hanoi were among those who received the FOBISIA MUN awards

In honour of World Children's Day, our students took a proactive approach to amplify the voices of whole school students and shed light on the "rights of children".

It has been wonderful to return to our amazing community this week after some professional learning in China last week.

From Sunday onwards, we have had our CIS/WASC visiting team here at school. This has been a great opportunity to share all the wonderful things that we are providing for our students across all sections and to gain further insight and ideas to help us improve even further.

This week, our school joined millions of people around the world in celebrating World Children's Day.

In this week's update, we are thrilled to share the outstanding success of the recent Big Sing event that took place on Tuesday.

There are so many onsite and offsite activities taking place at BIS Hanoi this week, with more yet to come.

We're pleased to say that our school will be welcoming a team of seven evaluators from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) next week.

The BIS Hanoi Secondary Choir, led by our dedicated music teacher, Mr. Scott, recently delivered a mesmerising performance at Cua Bac Church for the annual Remembrance Service in Hanoi.

Our U15 FOBISIA team had a very good tournament and showed great team spirit and sportsmanship throughout the FOBISIA Games in Thailand. 

BIS Hanoi was honoured to welcome more than 150 student delegates from 13 International Schools across Asia for the FOBISIA Model United Nations (MUN) 2023!

Year 12 students visited the Mai Chau region as part of the recent residential trip week at BIS Hanoi. The focus of this trip was to engage with the local community and support enhancing the local infrastructure.

Our BIS Hanoi members came together on Sunday, November 5th, to participate in the BritCham Fun Run event, and the sight was truly incredible. 

It has been heartwarming to see students arriving at school this week with bags full of soft toys and books. 

What a busy week we have had here at BIS Hanoi, and it looks set to be another busy weekend of activities.

As we approach the end of Term 1, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we have experienced together.
