BIS HCMC robotics team build and programme two robots to compete at their first VEX Tournament
On Saturday 11th November, our secondary robotics team and their two robots, BIS A and BIS B headed to SSIS in District 7, for their first ever VEX robotics tournament. Despite only having 1 robot built the week before and not having much time to practice, the team had a tremendously successful run battling against other schools, making it to the quarter and semi-finals!

BIS HCMC sport teams kick-start the 2023-24 season with commitment and determination

Our dedicated athletes, in our basketball, cross country, football, swimming, table tennis and volleyball teams, have started their 2023-24 season with some outstanding performances against teams across HCMC.  With training in full swing, and many competitive fixtures under their belts, our students are certainly committed to the countless hours of training and showing true teamwork skills and sportsmanship.  Our PE department share some of the highlights of the season so far.

Sensational Win for BIS Barracudas at BIS Swim Meet 2023

On the 4th and 5th of March 2023, BIS HCMC hosted the BIS Invitational Swimming Gala for the first time in four years. There were a total of 420 swimmers from the seven different schools ranging from age 6 - 18 years old. Read about how BIS broke 17 school records and came home the overall champions!

Here at BIS HCMC we take great joy in our Nord Anglia collaborations with pioneering institutions such as MIT, Juilliard and of course the humanitarian aid organisation, UNICEF. With December 2021 marking the 75th anniversary of UNICEF, our Year 12 student Nini, was selected to interview former UNICEF UK President and UNICEF Ambassador, Lord David Puttnam. BIS HCMC hosts Regional NAEMUN for South East Asia and the Middle East online
Last weekend our Model United Nations team were proud to host the first Regional online MUN conference for schools from Nord Anglia Education South East Asia and Middle East region. With a wide geographic range, navigating time zones and technology posed several challenges, but our leadership team rose to the occasion and produced as close to a face-to-face event as possible.
