This week Year 5 had a wonderful time at the Csopa Science Museum, which has relocated to Csillaghegy. The children spent the day exploring countless ‘hands on’ science activities and enjoyed a very explosive science show!

On Wednesday 20th March, Year 6 students studying Hungarian Culture went on a hike into the Buda Hills.

On the 20th of March 2024, the Year 6 Hungarian groups trip took us to Kiskőrös, where the renowned Hungarian poet, Sándor Petőfi, was born.

On Tuesday, March 19th, with six students from BISB we participated in a prestigious recitation competition hosted in Ferencváros.

The Atrium was buzzing for World Book Day on March 16th with students and staff dressed in a vibrant and imaginative array of costumes based on literary characters and events such as the Mini Saga competition and our annual Spelling Bee. 

Our new blog from the English Department aims to encourage parents, students, and teachers to fall in love again with reading and the power of books.

Quiche is a very versatile, classic French dish.

On Tuesday 12th March 2024, our Year 10 IGCSE Performing Arts students, worked collaboratively to provide an evening of Drama Devised Performances and Music Ensemble performances as part of their IGCSE courses.

In the past few weeks, the Year 10 tutor groups have embarked on a remarkable journey of empathy and action by learning about homelessness and extending a helping hand to those in need.

This week, the Y8 students completed and refined their 3D Surrealist Cities.

Year 9 EAL Trip

On March the 12th, the students and staff organised the Visual Arts IDBP showcase at the Óbudai Kulturális Központ.

This week was English Week at BISB. In primary, we celebrated by holding our Spelling Bee final, taking part in Drop Everything And Read every day and dressing up as our favourite book characters.

It has been another incredible term of CCA at BISB and so many of our students have participated in our widest array of CCAs to date.

RoboCup Junior Hungary

Another buzzing NAGGE event at BISB last week.

We are Year 10 Jade, and for our Service-Learning project, we are working towards helping the unhoused in Hungary. Our work and vision are powered and inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 1 – No poverty.
