Last week, Year 2 had a visit from dentist Dr. Helena Ndindi and dental hygienist Adél Dáko from Rozsakert dental practice.

On Tuesday (aka Halloween), students were welcomed to C18 by ‘Bob’, our resident skeleton, and were witness to some exciting demos.

We spent our day off running with student and parents up in the hills. 9km, great views and a sunset.

Computer Science celebrated Code Week from 7-12th of October 2023 and participated in European Coding Week. The British International School, Budapest has been placed in the top 3 among 956 schools that participated in the European Coding Competition.

In Primary, we will be further celebrating maths during the week of November 6th - 10th with a 'Maths in Nature' themed week.

At BISB, we recently hosted our Year 13 CAS Project Exhibition from October 25th to 27th. During this event, our Year 13 students had the opportunity to present their CAS projects, highlighting their achievements.

Following on from the extremely successful 'Walk to Work/School' Week before the break, BISB has signed up for the Global Campus Sports Challenge.

Using maps, songs and games, Year 1 students have been learning to identify the flags of different countries.

Budapest architectural walk 2023

This week students of Years 7-12 participated in the EU Code Week. Participating in the Code Week competition has significantly contributed to the development of their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

After five years, the long-awaited Nord Anglia Global Games Europe U19 Football Tournament returned to BISB.Six teams represented their schools from all over Europe: Ireland, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

Last Thursday the Year 2s visited the Breier Farm and Apple Orchard in Pomaz. Mr. Breier kindly invited us to see the animals at his family’s farm.
