It was a fantastic event and the standard that our students brought to the competition was very high. This year's theme was ‘Water’ and the participants all delivered poems related to this topic. Our delegates took home a handful of prizes; in fact, in the 10-12 year old's category, we gained the bronze, silver and gold medals!
Many congratulations go to Krzysztof (Year 5) for winning the bronze, Eszter (Year 6) for winning the silver, and James (Year 7) for winning the gold medal.
Further congratulations go to James for also being awarded the overall competition cup for his outstanding performance! Our other competitors, Bettie, Tomi, Balazs, Steven and Jonathon, should also be commended for their wonderful performances.
Very well done to all!
