There will be more fixtures for our U14 boys before the DVAC season-closing tournament at AISB on Saturday 10th March and the ENASA Football and Basketball Tournament in Warsaw on Thursday 19th – Sunday 22nd April.
Barbara Petronijevic (Yr9) and Olav Noordhuis (Yr11) attended the annual DVAC Swim Meet at the American International School, Budapest on Saturday 27th January. They both showed BISB in a good light, achieving 10 medals out of 10 events! Barbara won all her events whilst Olav took gold in the 50m Butterfly and two silver and two bronze in his other races. This was a great achievement, especially after spending the previous week in bed due to a nasty flu and being one of the youngest swimmers in his age category.
Congratulations to both!
Go TEAM BISB!
Year 9 have been showing their green fingers/thumbs by trying to germinate cress seeds under various conditions, to see what is important for the seed growth.
