The winners in the Early Years scribed category were Xin Xin, Mefarrej and Ted. They brought pirates, dragons, spiders and tigers to life in some fabulous tales.
In Years 1 and 2, Mila Loranger and Tom Swaine won with their tales of ladybirds and superheroes.
In Years 3 and 4 the winners were: Mate Perenyei with A Smiley World, Finn Turner with The Elephant and the Drought and Sharon Kim with Special Bowl. Although very different in style, all three winners called for us to help each other to look after our planet.
In Years 5 and 6 our winners were: A Better World by Tomi Racz – the story of a young boy who makes a difference; A Better World, A Better Home by Alex Fejes – a call to protect our planet; and The Rise and Fall of the Lidev by Marco Pricopi – an entertaining piece of science-fiction set in space.
