Our largest ever IB class celebrated their time as part of our community with a fitting ceremony at the Intercontinental Budapest. The event was attended by 300 guests, teachers and pupils. The guest of honour and speaker at the event was Ms Caitlin Jones, Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy. She gave a thought provoking, humble and entertaining speech before giving out the graduation certificates to each student. Guests were also entertained during the musical interlude by Hanyi Zhu, a Year 12 student. After the ceremony, families, students and friends enjoyed a drinks reception. We wish our graduates well in their future as they go on from BISB.
Following the postponement of Journey’s End before Christmas, we are pleased to announce the new dates.
Year 9 have been showing their green fingers/thumbs by trying to germinate cress seeds under various conditions, to see what is important for the seed growth.
There was more basketball on Saturday. This time our U14 Girls A and B teams had their DVAC Festival here at BISB.
