Green Fox Academy, situated at Andrássy út 66, was what we were looking forward to with excitement and enthusiasm on the morning of 4th October 2019. It was the first time that Computer Science students got an opportunity to meet some programmers and get familiar with their environment. Arriving at the darts room, they were surprised at how modern the designs were, despite how old the building looked from outside. Students were informed about the programmers work in scrams and sprints, where a project is divided into various tasks and the progress checked every week. The agenda of the trip was to allow the students to see real-life projects that programmers get from clients. From algorithmic problem solving to debugging to the structure of a web-app, the programmers discussed and answered all our questions. The programmers shared their experience of working with various programming languages, such as Java, C# and Java Script, and explained the benefits of using these languages. It was an enriching experience for the students which will help them grow as computational thinkers in the future.
