The Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) on offer to students at BISB form part of a wider Co-Curricular Learning (CCL) programme for the whole school. In addition to daily CCAs, another exciting aspect of our CCL programme is the opportunity for all students throughout the school to participate in local and regional academic visits as well as cultural residentials, not only in Hungary but also in countries such as Austria, France, Germany, England and Spain.

For all Secondary students in Year 7-10 our cultural residentials take place every year during Enrichment Week and parents should have received an invitation last week to presentations that will take place after school on Wednesday 30th October. These presentations will allow parents to see where Year 7-10 students will be heading this year and to find out exactly what each residential programme will entail.

As a reminder, here are the details of the presentations for parents of students in Year 7-10:

Date: Wednesday 30th October

Location: Primary Auditorium and 6th Form Study Centre
(on C Floor in the Secondary school)

Time

Primary Auditorium

6th Form Study Centre

4:00pm to   4:30pm

Year 7 France
Miss Viranyi-Fontan

Year 8 Germany
 Mr Swaine

4:45pm to  5:15pm

Year 9 England
Mr Wilson

Year 10 Spain

I am aware that some of you may have two children participating in the residentials so the schedule has been organised to allow you to attend two presentations consecutively. There will also be a short break between the two sets of presentations to allow you to move to a different venue if necessary.

If you are a parent of a student in Year 7-10, I very much look forward to your attendance. In the meantime, should you have any questions relating to either of these presentations or to the residentials themselves, then please do not hesitate to contact me.
