Year 9 Drama students were given a challenge this week. They had just 6 minutes to find and wear a costume for their idea of a stereotypical teacher or student. They then had to take a photo of them showing their character through body language and facial expression. The first ones to load up the pictures received House Points and the best pictures received Recognitions. This was a starter activity as part of their scripted unit on Teechers by John Godber. In the next lesson, they developed these stereotypical characters further and created short pieces from an extract of the play.
