World Languages Week This week students have been celebrating the multilingual nature of our school community!

This week students have been celebrating the multilingual nature of our school community!

The events have been organised by this year's newly appointed Language Prefects - Julia Hetzmann and Ghazal Manieh who have done a fantastic job in their new roles so far. Each day began with a fun tutor time activity - a Kahoot quiz based on one of the 5 languages taught here at BISB - French, German, Spanish, Hungarian and Mandarin. Each lunchtime there was a different language activity for students to get involved with. On Monday we had a 'pin the language on the map' challenge, Tuesday we created our own polyglot graffiti wall and on Wednesday students received stickers to put on their ID cards to represent the languages that they know. On Thursday we celebrated Mandarin Chinese with our Year 12 and 13 Chinese Language A students preparing some activities for students to try. The week culminated today with a treasure hunt style quiz!
