Year 3 are launching their own Read-A-Thon to raise money for their charity, the Wesley Janos Kindergarten. Year 3 students love to read and are putting their skills to good use. They are looking for family and friends to sponsor them to read at least 20 books each.
This will take place from now until Friday 5th March, the last day of English week. Money raised from the Read-a-Thon will go towards buying books for the Wesley Janos school library. Our students have connected with the Kindergarten already by reading together via Zoom.
This week, Dora from Year 3 Lemon did a brilliant job at reading one of the many lovely Hungarian books we would like to donate. She shared the story online while talking with the students about the characters and what they liked about the story.
Each week our Year 3 students will be sharing new stories while building relationships and making new friends along the way.
