There was more basketball on Saturday. This time our U14 Girls A and B teams had their DVAC Festival here at BISB.
With a day of phenomenal wins as well as some tough losses, the girls played outstandingly well. They showed tenacity and spirit, working hard to support each other every second they spent on the court. This young team have tremendous potential and lots of positives to take forward as they approach their end of season tournaments in March. On Saturday our U19 Junior Varsity Girls also had two friendly matches with BBIS and Britannica. This was an opportunity for newer players to gain some crucial match experience. Again, the girls performed extremely well, showing increasingly advanced basketball IQ and greater understanding and awareness of the intricacies of the game.
These will be teams to watch over the next few seasons!
