As part of their end of unit assessment, Year 7 and 8 Hungarian students were asked to illustrate a piece of poetry. In Year 7, we have been reading Toldi by János Arany and students had to choose one verse or episode to show visually.
In Year 8, we have also been reading Arany, but shorter ballads and poems. There was no limitation regarding what format or style they had to use to showcase their chosen poem. Students were very creative in both year groups and excelled at modelling, drawing and editing photos.
