Four BISB students managed to climb the height of Africa’s tallest mountain on Saturday morning last week to raise money for Kiwawa Secondary School in Tanzania. Leo Strohmayer, Milan Czimer, Tristan Ford and Xiankun Chai asked friends and family to sponsor them in the attempted ascent.
It is hoped the total raised will be over 200,000 HUF. All the students who participated managed to complete the climb – an amazing achievement. The winning time was achieved by Xiankun (Tim) Chai, who set a new BISB record of completing the climb in 51 minutes. Many thanks to Ms Huang, Anna-Maria Wirtz and Emily Waltham who came along to support. Congratulations to all our climbers and many thanks to our numerous sponsors from the BISB community.
