This week, Year 13 have been exhibiting their CAS projects to demonstrate their actions and learning from this strand of the IBDP Core. From podcasting and hosting sustainability runways to supporting local and international charities and teaching and learning Japanese, students have engaged in a wide range of activities and have reflected thoughtfully on their progress and learning. They have shared their enthusiasm and wisdom with Year 12, who will now start planning their own CAS projects – watch this space!

On Monday, Year 6 had an exciting and unexpected visitor—a general from Hua Mulan’s army (played by Mr. Brown). The students were captivated as a letter from Mulan herself was read aloud, informing them that their enlistment in her army was required.
On Wednesday morning, Year 6 embarked on another adventure with a thought-provoking trip into the woods.
Year 8 Sapphire is raising awareness of sustainability as part of their Service-learning project.
