Last Thursday the Year 2s visited the Breier Farm and Apple Orchard in Pomaz. Mr. Breier kindly invited us to see the animals at his family’s farm. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the animals. They saw cows, calves, chickens, goats and sheep. We also enjoyed our picnic and played in the large fields surrounding the farm. After visiting all the animals, our buses took us to the apple orchard, where the children were free to pick as many apples as they could carry. This was a wonderful and new experience for many of our students who had never, picked fruit off a tree. Before we left, we were also given six large crates full of apples to share with others at school. Thank you, once again, Mr. Breier for your kind invite. And well done to all the Year 2s who behaved sensibly on the trip and made the best of this opportunity and enjoyed this exciting day!

Year 8 Hungarian students went to a Hungarian trip to Gödöllői Királyi Kastély. We learned that Sisi and her family came to this castle in their free time to relax and hunt during fall, winter, and spring.
This spring break proved to be both busy and rewarding for British International School Budapest students, Laura Ivanka and Lizanna Ivanka, who achieved remarkable results at two major RoboCup Junior competitions.
