Year 3 Marigold visited the science lab this week to examine some rock samples. Students worked in pairs and used a flow chart to analyze the different textures and characteristics of the rocks to try and determine what type of rock it is. To make the experiment even more interesting, students were able to use hydrochloric acid to help them identify sedimentary rocks. Lots of exciting science fun was had by all!

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
