BISB House and Movember Event

Last week the House Team came together to raise awareness as well as money for MOVEMBER cause.

• November 2023, marks the twentieth annual celebration of Movember, also commonly known as “No-shave November.” Since 2003, the Movember Foundation has promoted November as an annual month of increased awareness of serious health issues affecting men,including testicular and prostate cancers, depression, and suicidal ideation.

The House team ran several stalls and games over the course of two days last week and through some unprecedented participation, managed to raise 22,000 HUF for the MOVEMBER institution. 

With special MOVEMBER themed House sign up sheets, the House competition also showed that RUBY house won for overall participation, with Sapphire coming a very close second.

Well done to the house and especially to the House Team who made sure everything swimmingly and raised awareness for such an incredible cause.
