Dichotomous keys – what does that mean?
It is a method used by biologists to help classify animals, plants, and rocks. An example is shown here.
7X were learning about this in science, but in a slightly different way - by making and playing ‘Guess Who?’.
Students chose 24 animals and made stands for them, then they paired up and randomly chose one of their opponents’ cards.
The other person, by asking questions, and removing cards, had to try and guess which card they have.
Lots of fun was has by all.
Last week, the British International School Budapest campus came alive with colour, energy, and excitement as our youngest students took part in the annual Primary and Early Years Sports Day!
A huge congratulations to Lizanna (Year 4) and Laura Ivánka (Year 9) for an incredible week of achievements in science and innovation!
